Neurdovergent-Affirming Therapy

When everyday life feels harder than it should.

You might feel like you experience the world in ways that don’t always line up with those around you.

Certain environments may feel overstimulating. Transitions might throw off your rhythm. You may replay conversations long after they’ve ended, or feel overwhelmed by small shifts in plans.

At times, you might move between intense focus and total shutdown. Or find yourself masking parts of who you are just to make interactions smoother.

Sometimes it’s not even clear what feels different, only that navigating daily life takes more effort than it seems to for others.

If any of this resonates, you’re not alone.

There Are Meaningful Reasons Your System Responds This Way

Neurodivergence is not a flaw. It simply reflects differences in how your brain and nervous system process information, emotion, and sensory input.

For some, this includes ADHD or autism. For others, it may show up as heightened sensitivity, rejection sensitivity, processing differences, or challenges with regulation.

Many adults grow up without language for these experiences. Instead, they learn to adapt  by masking, over-functioning, withdrawing, or pushing themselves beyond their limits.

Over time, those adaptations can become exhausting.

There is nothing broken about you. Often, the distress comes from trying to live in environments that were never designed with your wiring in mind.

Therapy That Moves at Your Pace

In our work together, we take time to understand how your nervous system responds to stress, stimulation, and relationships.

Rather than pushing for quick change, we focus on building steadiness in ways that feel manageable and realistic. This might include exploring patterns of masking or overextending, identifying your energy limits, strengthening regulation skills, and finding rhythms that support you rather than exhaust you.

Therapy becomes a place to make sense of your experiences without pressure. A place where you can slow down, reflect, and begin responding to yourself with more clarity and compassion.

Over time, the goal is not to become someone different  but to feel more anchored in who you already are.
